Happy birthday to the most incredible woman I know - my mom, Terri! I am on call this weekend in Chanute, so I am sad I can't be home to help celebrate. My family just got a new golden retriever puppy and we bought my mom a Kindle reader for her birthday, so I'm sure she has plenty to keep her busy today!
Mom, you are the kindest and most patient person I know. You are beautiful both inside and out. You're incredibly creative and full of fun ideas with a sarcastic, witty sense of humor. You have a wonderful heart and you're full of compassion for others (even with that compassion, sometimes I still can't believe you let me live past my teenage years). I know for a fact that I would not be where I am today without your love, guidance, and much needed discipline. My sisters and I are so lucky to have such a strong role model.
